Keeping our focus on education we delivered textbooks to the schools in our coffee communities, in addition to the usual supply of education materials requested by the teachers. Our environmental project, Planting for Tomorrow, is wrapping up as the coffee harvest gets under way. We were fortunate to run medical clinics in the village of Las Sabanas with the generous help of a local doctor. She donated her time to care for any child under 5 years old. We supplied any medication required and prescribed by the doctor. At Christmas time we delivered toys and candies to children in hospital on Christmas Eve.
